OP PIPER

 Tyneside Scottish Branch Royal Artillery Association visit to Arras - OP PIPER.

An opportunity to visit the First and Second World Battlefields where the Tyneside Scottish fought. 

The Tyneside Scottish Brigade, Northumberland Fusiliers, were engaged in the Battle of Arras 1917. The 1st Battalion Tyneside Scottish (Black Watch) would also fight around Arras during World War Two, conducting a vital blocking action in May 1940 at Ficheux.
