The Flesquieres Memorial of Nations commemorates those who fought in the area of Cambrai during the First World War. It is located in the centre of the 1917 Battle of Cambrai battlefield on the Flesquieres Ridge ,where many tanks were destroyed on the first day of the battle by German Gunners located in the area.
The flags of the nations who fought who fought in the area form 1914-1918 fly above the memorial. Plaques list all the Regiments who were engaged in the fighting.
