New York 2016 - World Trade Centre Plaza

The Twin Towers of the World Trade Centre were destroyed in a terrorist attack on 9th September 2011 - in American date format 9/11. The devastation left by the collapse of the Towers has been transformed into a memorial plaza, museum, transportation hub, and Tower One World Trade Centre.

In the footprint  of the Twin Towers, two square pools with waterfalls have been constructed at a national memorial to those lost in the WTC on 9/11, surrounded by trees. The surrounds of the pools bare the names of those lost.
