Lulu an iconic pop star over 6 decades celebrated her 60 years in showbusiness with a tour of the United Kingdom that included the Glasshouse (Sage), Gateshead. This was to be her final performing tour.
Lulu was 15 years old when she hat her first with ' Shout in 1964'.
She would have many more hits over the years.  |

In 1969 she won the Eurovision song contest with 'Boom Bang a Bang.
In 1974 she was the artist who performed the opening theme of the James Bond move 'The Man with the Golden Gun'
On 12th April 2024 she performed on her Champagne Tour at the Glasshouse in Gateshead to commemorate her 60 years in showbusiness.
