The Fontana del Porcellino Hog is a bronze fountain of a boar. The current statue dates from 2008, which was a replacement of statue cast in 1998. The original Scripture was cast circa 1634, the design based upon a marble statue which was found in Rome.
It is located in the Loggia del Mercato Nuovo, a market built around the middle of the 16th century.
