Somme 2023 - Beaumont Hamel British Cemetery

 The Beaumont Hamel British Cemetery is located in between the village of Beaumont Hamel and the Sunken Lane from which the 1st Lancashire Fusiliers launched their attack on 1st July 1916 towards the village.

The cemetery contains the resting place of 179 casualties, the majority of which are unidentified. There are 98 identified casualties.
