Arnhem – Drop Zones / Landing Zones

At 12:00 17^th September 1944 the Pathfinders of 21^st Independent Parachute Company dropped on to the DZ / LZ to mark the areas for the main body. At 13:00 1^st Air landing Brigade landed, followed 35 minutes later by the paras of 1^st Parachute Brigade. By 15:00 the landing areas were secured.

Once complete on  the LZ units moved to their RV's ready to move to Arnhem. On Route  Leopard the 1^st Airborne Reconnaissance Squadron moved  to Arnhem to secure the bridge in a coup de main operation
