The Empire State Building is located on 5th Avenue and 34th Street being the world's tallest building from 1931 to 1970. It stands 443 metres (1,454 feet) tall to the top of its radio antenna with 102 stories. It is takes it's name form the nickname for New York State, Empire State.

Maddison Square Garden has been a multi-purpose indoor arena since 1879. The current building is the fourth building to bear that name and opened in 1968. It was built on the site of the former Penn Station. The stadium is the home venue for the New York Knicks basketball team, and the New York Rangers Ice Hockey Team.  |

Trinity Church is located at the end of Wall Street on Broadway. The original church was built in 1698 and was destroyed during the Great New York City Fire of in 1776. A second building was consecrated in 1790, which was demolished after being weakened by severe snows during the winter of 1838–39. The current building was completed in 1846.

The churchyard contains the graves of many prominent Americans as well as a Soldiers Memorial dedicated to those who lost their lives as Prisoners of War whilst in captivity in New York during the American Revolutionary War 1775 to 1783.

One World Trade Centre was built in the shadow of the original twin towers of the World Trade Centre which was destroyed in the terrorist attacks of 9th September 2001. Opened in 2014 it stands 546.2 metres at its spire with 104 stories. It is the tallest building in the Western Hemisphere.

The National September 11 Memorial commemorates the 2,977 people killed during the terrorist attacks of September 11 2001 and the 6 people killed in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing of 1993.
The memorial is formed as twin pools located in the footprint of the North and South Towers of the World Trade Centre which was destroyed on 9/11. Around the walls of the pools are a record of those lost in the World Trade Centre New York, the Pentagon in Washington, and on Flight 93 which crashed in Pennsylvania.

The Oculus is the World Trade Center Transportation Hub built as a replacement for the Hudson Terminal which was demolished following the terrorist attack on the World Trade Centre on September 11th 2001. A temporary station was opened in 2003, the Oculus in March 2016.
