 Herm Island is located 5km east of Guernsey. The island is 2.4km long and 0.8km wide.

 The island is reached by ferry from St Peter Port. At low tide the harbour on the island can not be reached and a landing must be made at a a few hundred meters to the south. South west of Herm is a smaller island, Jethou.
